Peter Harrison

I'm Peter Harrison and am the Liberal Democrat candidate standing for election for Waveney Valley because I care about our local community. I have lived in Aldeby for 20 years and have always been active locally. As an Aldeby Parish Councillor, I helped to secure the 30-mph speed limit through the village.

I am a retired physician and previously worked as a consultant at the James Paget, with sessions at Beccles Hospital. As a Health Commissioner I helped keep Waveney aligned with Norfolk and so understand the importance of strong local health services. I currently am Chair Beccles Hospital League of Friends and am a trustee of Centre 81, supporting local services.

I want to make a practical difference by focusing on realistic and achievable priorities to include health provision, filling potholes, dealing with litter and supporting our community.
