I’m standing in the forthcoming County Council elections because our communities deserve strong, visible and experienced representation. As a South Norfolk District Councillor, I have worked hard to support residents, helping community groups secure grants, offering advice on planning matters and speaking up for our local environment.
Councillors should be active in their communities all year round, not just at election time. I believe in being approachable, listening to concerns and helping people find practical solutions.
This experience is especially important as Norfolk prepares for major local government reform and the move toward new unitary authorities. At such a time of change, we need councillors who understand how the system works and can ensure our communities’ voices are heard.
If elected, I will use my experience and commitment to stand up for our area and help guide our county through this important period of change.
